Appareil fabriqué à partir du Chinon CXII dont il conserve toutes les fonctions.
On remarque toutefois des modifications esthétiques au niveau de la carrosserie et des boutons, et particulièrement ce bosselage du prisme qui rappelle celui des Rolleiflex 35 mm.
